Using ilifu for your Event
Guidance for workshops, hackathons and data school events seeking support from the ilifu cloud computing facility.
IDIA provides support for hosting workshops, hackathon and other data school events, through the ilifu cloud computing facility, as part of its outreach and development goals. While prioritised access to this service is given to the IDIA partner institutes, we are able to support a select few workshops/hackathons/data schools from non-IDIA members each year that make compelling cases for skills training and societal impact on the African continent. Such support is further subject to compute and support staff capacity.
Application guidance
Please submit the request form at least 2 months in advance of your event to allow time for approval, provisioning and any development requirements.
